2009 Covenant Mass at St. Aidans'

Every year we make the journey to Willingston Park, LI to share with our sister church. Through the years there has been so much collaboration: we are so thankful for all the blessings. Diocesan Institute 2008-2009

We are soooo proud of our members this year, we always are. We have good group in both the English and Spanish cycles. Once again it is taking place at our St. John's site. These are a few pictures as they start there second semester for this year.

Healing Service at Good Counsel February 2009

On the night of February 9th, we all met at the Good Counsel site for a night of prayer and healing, over a hundred of our parishioners gathered. The youth of our parish animated the opening part with an enactment of various situations in their lives, as well as ours, that need healing. Fr. Joe opened the moment for us to come and place our lives, our sorrows, our needs upon the Lord.

All Co-Missions Mid Year Formation

On the feast of the Presentation of the Lord, Feb 2nd, 2009, we had our formation night for the leaders of our co-missions. There was a good turn out and candlemas animated the evening. Fr. Joe led us with a review of the Annual Church Report, then all the Co-Mission directors gave a summary of the goals that were set from the last all co-missions meeting. The brilliance of the Light of Christ illumined all who were present.
