Spanish Mission 2009

From March 15th till the 18th we had our annual lenten mission at the parish. Mr. Enrique Lugo accompanied led the mission, with the support of the New creation Minsitry giving the musical support.

Celebrating Black History

The children of our school brought out their talents so that we could celebrate together black history month. Sure it was a little late, but the effort was well worth the wait!!!

Rite of the Elect 2009

Taking advantage of our First Sunday of Lent, we had our annual rite of sending of the elect. We have an awesome group this year. Saturday we had the children and Sunday our teens and adults. We heard there was a good group representing the Diocese of Brooklyn, over 1,300. With some 100 new converts among those congregated. Our prayers go with them.

Ash Wednesday 2009

We had three services this year, two at our St. John's site and one at the Good Counsel site.
